Toyota Prius Hybrid Car Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

  1. Entry signifies acceptance of these Rules.
  2. Entrants must be resident in the United Kingdom and not employed by EDF Energy or any of its group of companies ("Eligible Participants").
  3. Up to four (4) entries will be permitted per Eligible Participant.
  4. To enter this free prize draw Eligible Participants must complete the "personal details" section of the prize draw Pledge Card. Completed Pledge Cards must then be submitted to be received by EDF Energy by 17.00 on 28 December 2008. The routes of submission are: freepost to EDF Energy, 32-33 Clipper Boulevard East, Edisons Park, Crossways, Dartford, Kent DA2 6QB, through the online Pledge Card form available at html.savetodaysavetomorrow.com or through the prize draw entry box at EDF Energy stands at selected exhibitions (a "Valid Entry"). EDF Energy may need to pass Eligible Participants' details to selected third parties in order to process entries. By entering this free prize draw you consent to EDF Energy passing your details to such third parties for this purpose.
  5. All Valid Entries received will be entered into a prize draw to take place on 31 December 2008, which will be witnessed by an EDF Energy representative. The Winner will be the first Valid Entry drawn.
  6. The Prize: the Winner will receive a Toyota Prius hybrid car.
  7. The Winner will be notified in writing by EDF Energy by 21 January 2009. The Winner must contact EDF Energy, in accordance with the instructions on the notification letter, to claim the Prize by no later than 30 June 2009. If the Winner does not contact EDF Energy by this date then the prize may be forfeited. No claim made after this date will be accepted.
  8. The Prize is provided on an "as is" basis. EDF Energy has not assessed the Prize and does not make any undertaking as to its suitability, value, or any other aspect of the Prize whatsoever. EDF Energy will not have any interest or liability for any prize other than to provide the Prize subject to these Rules. EDF Energy shall not be obliged to provide any alternative prize in any circumstances. EDF Energy may substitute the prize at its absolute discretion.
  9. EDF Energy will require consent from a parent/guardian before releasing the Prize if the Winner is under the age of 18.
  10. The Winner may be required to participate in post-event publicity. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the Prize.
  11. The results of the Prize Draw may be obtained by contacting EDF Energy by post to: Andy Came, Social Markets Product Manager, EDF Energy, 329 Portland Road, Hove, BN3 5SU.
  12. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
  13. No responsibility is accepted by EDF Energy for entries or any other correspondence lost, damaged or delayed in transit.
  14. EDF Energy reserves the right to disqualify any entry which does not fully comply with these Rules.
  15. EDF Energy may cancel all or any part of this promotion at any time without notice or liability.
  16. This promotion will be administered by EDF Energy (the "Judge"). Its decision in respect of any aspect of this prize draw shall be final. No correspondence regarding this free prize draw will be entered into.
  17. The figure of £166 is the potential saving achievable by an EDF Energy customer with a typical consumption supplied on our standard tariffs, meeting the challenge to reduce their annual household energy consumption by 17% through energy saving measures. Typical consumption means 3,300 kWh of electricity and 20,500 kWh of gas each year.
  18. Please do not enter this prize draw if any of these provisions are unacceptable.
